Kinsarvik has much to offer when it comes to scenery, culture and leisure.
Just by the Hotel is the magnificent Hardangerfjord. Kinsarvik Medieval Church from the year 1160, Mikkelparken, the children's great favourite. A cutlery factory with its own retail outlets and Kinsarvik Go Cart track that has been named one of the finest courses in Norway.
The trip to Husedalen with four waterfalls and Hardangervidda starts at the hotel. Half an hour's drive away you will come to Eidfjord, including the Sima hydro-electric power station, the farm Kjeåsen, Hardangervidda Nature Centre and the waterfall Vøringsfossen, the most visited tourist site in Norway.
In Eidfjord you will find the company FlatEarth engaged in activities ranging from cozy canoe trips to extreme sports such as rafting, bungee jumping in waterfalls.
